FGFR2 and neoplasm: Although 10q LOH was observed in 18% of the cases, hypermethylation at the FGFR2 promoter was not observed for any tumor sample, while FGFR2 expression was positive in all 12 cell lines included in the study, pointing to the conclusion that FGFR2 downregulation does not seem to be particularly associated with neuroblastoma pathogenesis.
