Growing evidence showed that proteasome 26 S subunit ATPase 2 (PSMC2) was able to promote tumor progression as a functional gene among several types of human tumors, including ovarian cancer [7], colorectal cancer (CC) [8], osteosarcoma [9], pancreatic cancer [10], and hepatocellular carcinoma [11]. Here, PSMC2 is linked to familial pancreatic carcinoma.
