ANXA7 might act as a tumor suppresser gene in glioblastoma multiforme [40], glioblastoma [41, 42], melanoma [43], prostate cancer [44–47] and breast cancer [48]; ANXA7 might specifically function as a tumor promoter gene in HCC [49, 50], gastric cancer [51, 52], nasopharyngeal carcinoma [53], and colorectal cancer [54]. This evidence concerns the gene ANXA7 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
