As shown, knockdown of lncROPM in BCSCs notably decreased mRNA and protein levels of PLA2G16 (Fig. 4A, C), whereas ectopic lncROPM in non-BCSCs enhanced PLA2G16 levels (Fig. 4B, D) both in breast cancer cell lines and primary breast cancer cells derived from clinic samples. The gene discussed is PLAAT3; the disease is breast carcinoma.
