The KEGG enrichment results showed that during the treatment of insomnia by Ganoderma, the neuroactive ligand-receptor interaction signalling pathway is active; furthermore, core target genes (e.g., TNF, JUN, and HSP90αA1) regulate the calcium, apoptosis, cAMP, PI3K/Akt, and TNF signalling pathways, thereby modulating apoptosis/survival and the expression of various cytokines. The gene discussed is AKT1; the disease is insomnia.
