In previous literature, EMA expression especially localized at membrane in astroblastomas, which is same with our case.[22–24] In ependymoma, EMA express along the luminal surface of some ependymal rosettes or manifesting as dot-like perinuclear or ring-like cytoplasmic structures.[25] Therefore, we ruled out the diagnosis of ependymoma by morphology and immunohistochemistry. Here, MUC1 is linked to astroblastoma.
