Rationales for non-bleeding-related de-escalation included the following: for 50 (63.3%), dyspnea from ticagrelor; for 14 (17.7%), the cost of the first-line P2Y12 agents; for 11 (13.9%), they had undergone coronary artery bypass graft surgery following PCI and were not put back on ticagrelor or prasugrel; for 3 (3.8%), post–cardiac arrest reasons; and for 1 (1.3%), allergy (Fig. 1).
