VEGFA and myocardial infarction: Animal experiments confirmed that Rhodiola rosea treatment of myocardial infarction rats increased rat VEGF, inhibited the production of inflammatory factors, improved blood viscosity, inhibited platelet aggregation, promoted angiogenesis, and improved blood circulation.21 Other studies have shown that Rhodiola rosea can increase high density lipoprotein, reduce low density lipoprotein, and regulate the effect of blood lipids.15-17
