We then extended our expression analysis to MEN1 mRNA expression in a pooled series of 2081 clinical tissue samples publicly available, including 272 “normal” samples (normal tissue and benign prostate hyperplasia: BPH), 1643 PC primary tumor samples, and 90 PC metastatic samples (Supplementary methods and Table S4). The gene discussed is MEN1; the disease is benign prostatic hyperplasia.
