It has been seen that germ-line mutations in p16 have currently caused a wide range of cancers like melanoma and pancreatic carcinoma; it has also been reported that there is a remarkable association between this mutation(CDKN2A) and pancreatic neoplasia (Jenkins et al., 2013; Potrony et al., 2015).
