For tissue samples, the present study showed a significant association between the MSI-H phenotype instability and high level of AFP (P. <0.01), higher number of tumor masses (P. <0.01), larger tumor size (P. =0.04), advanced tumor grade II (P. =0.04) and grade III (P. <0.01), solid pattern (P. =0.02) and acinar/solid pattern (P. =0.04), HAI A1 (P. <0.01), Splenomegaly (P. =0.03), and in patients with lower limb edema (P. =0.04). This evidence concerns the gene AFP and neoplasm.
