CSF1R and tuberculosis: Verification studies were conducted in 104 individual samples for eight candidate proteins of interest that were differentially expressed at significantly higher levels in plasma between the SPTB case and TB control groups: 1–5) complement C3 and C5, CSF1R, S100A9, and TGFBI, for which levels were measured using quantitative ELISA; and 6–8) coagulation factor V, VII, and IX, for which the activity was measured via a clot-based assay.
