RGN and type 2 diabetes mellitus: Considering the beneficial effect of derrisfolin A on inflammatory responses in both MIN6 cells and RAW264.7 macrophages, the induction of RGN expression in both β‐cells and islet‐associated macrophages may be a novel therapeutic strategy targeted to both the preservation of β‐cell survival and the inhibition of macrophage activation in islet inflammation caused by T2D.
