IL1B and type 2 diabetes mellitus: Furthermore, we simulated the inflammatory microenvironment in T2D islets by co‐culturing MIN6 cells and RAW264.7 macrophages in the presence of LPS and demonstrated that in co‐culture conditions, derrisfolin A‐mediated and gene transfer‐mediated RGN induction in RAW264.7 macrophages attenuated the incidence of LPS‐induced paracrine effects of RAW264.7 macrophages on apoptosis and oxidative/nitrosative stress in MIN6 cells, accompanied by decreased levels of NO, IL‐1β, and TNF‐α in the co‐culture medium.
