FCGR2B and hepatocellular carcinoma: Interestingly, plasma levels of FGL2, a ligand for FcγRIIb and FcγRIII (Liu et al., 2008) was reported to be elevated in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (Colak et al., 2011), and in patients with liver cirrhosis and HCC (Sun et al., 2014), suggesting a link to decreased receptor expression.
