The results revealed that the relative MYSM1 expression level in normal mucosa (77.83 ± 18.90) was dramatically higher than that in primary tumors (31.07 ± 7.397) or metastatic lymph nodes (9.269 ± 3.454) at the mRNA level (Fig. 6A) and protein level (Fig. 6B), which was consistent with the findings of the database analysis and in vitro experiments, indicating an intrinsic tumor suppressor role of MYSM1 in CRC in vivo. Here, MYSM1 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
