Survival analysis stratified for PTEN status (Fig. 4, Supplementary Fig. S1, and Supplementary Fig. S2) showed that, patients with PTEN-L (p = 0.03) but not PTEN-WT (p = 0.61) and HR−/HER2+ breast cancer have a shorter survival probability compared to HR+/HER2- (Fig. 4a). This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and breast carcinoma.
