Monoclonal antibodies targeting the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), including cetuximab and panitumumab, were effective against metastatic colorectal cancer, and GC1118 (a novel, fully humanized anti-EGFR IgG1 antibody) alone had a better antitumor effect [25]. This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and metastatic colorectal cancer.
