The most studied transporters for their role in cancer include SLC1A5 (alanine–serine–cysteine transporter 2 or ASCT2) [5–8], SLC7A5 (system L amino acid transporter 1 or LAT1) [5–9], SLC7A11 (system x−c transporter or xCT) [5,6,10,11], and SLC6A14 (amino acid transporter B0,+ or ATB0,+) [5–8,12–14]. Here, SLC6A14 is linked to cancer.
