Our data demonstrated that tumor tissues contained significantly lower mRNA levels of FUT3 (2.3 fold), FUT4 (2.7 fold), FUT5 (5.9 fold), FUT6 (3.0 fold), FUT8 (2.0 fold), and FUCA1 (2.6 fold) as compared to adjacent normal tissues (Figure 1). This evidence concerns the gene FUT5 and neoplasm.
