It was found that only 36% of the population had high levels of expression relative, 0.94 medians, range (0.65–1.9) of the ABCB1 gene, in patients with AML; several previous AML studies have shown that ABCB1 high level are expressed from 35 to 70% in adult cases [28, 29]. The gene discussed is ABCB1; the disease is acute myeloid leukemia.
