In a subgroup analysis according to sample size of the studies >30 or <30, serum chemerin levels were remarkably higher in the PCOS group in comparison with the non‐PCOS group in both studies with sample size >30 (WMD: 14.23 pg/ml, 95% CI: 11.03, 17.43, p < .001) and sample size <30 (WMD: 6.13 pg/ml, 95% CI: 5.25, 7.01, p < .001).
