Of cases stained with synaptophysin, chromogranin and/or CD56, expression of neuroendocrine markers was noted in of 5/6 ES/ELS and of 3/4 DSRCT, which appear to have substantially contributed to an initial erroneous impression of a neuroendocrine neoplasm in those five cases of ES/ELS and two cases of DSRCT. Here, SYP is linked to neuroendocrine neoplasm.
