As expected, we identified more differentially methylated targets in the contrast tumour vs. blood (n = 25; ESR1, TFPI2, WT1, TMEFF2, PENK, MYOD1, TWIST1, DCC, PTGS2, TJP2, SPARC, PITX2, SEZ6L, DNAJC15, GDNF, CDX1, CLIC4, SFRP2, HLA-G, GATA4, BOLL, THBD, RARB, NKX2-1, SALL3) compared to the contrast tumour vs. adjacent tissue (n = 19, ESR1, TFPI2, WT1, TMEFF2, PENK, MYOD1, TWIST1, DCC, PTGS2, TJP2, SPARC, PITX2, SEZ6L, DNAJC15, GDNF, CDX1, CLIC4, SFRP2, HLA-G, GATA4, BOLL, THBD, RARB, NKX2-1, SALL3, TCEB2, S100A8). Here, GDNF is linked to neoplasm.
