Using available studies of metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer from cBioPortal, we found that PIM1 and YWHAZ amplification significantly co-occur (p < .001), and they both also significantly co-occur with hnRNPK amplification (for PIM1 and hnRNPK: p < .001, for YWHAZ and hnRNPK: p = .015) (Supplementary Fig. 4b–c)53–57. This evidence concerns the gene YWHAZ and prostate carcinoma.
