Lipopolysaccharide binding protein (LBP), antigen recognition receptor (CD14), tumor necrosis factor -α (TNF-α) and Interleukin-1β (IL-1β) in milk and blood of dairy cow mastitis were up-regulated, the expression levels of toll like receptor 4 (TLR4), p38 protein kinase and phosphorylated p38 protein (p-p38) induced by inflammation in udder were significantly increased, suggesting that the phosphorylation of related proteins in MAPK signaling pathway may be an important factor in the occurrence of mastitis (36). Here, CD14 is linked to mastitis.
