Xiao et al. (2016) demonstrated that miR-566 was overexpressed in glioblastoma in vitro and in vivo, and inhibition of miR-566 was able to suppress the invasion and migration of glioblastoma cells, and angiogenesis via the VEGF/Von Hippel–Lindau tumor suppressor (VHL) pathway.
