Understanding the role of EZH2 is ongoing, but EZH2 as a cancer therapy is well under way, with additional clinical trials testing tazemetostat and other EZH2 inhibitors for additional sarcoma subtypes (NCT02601950, NCT02601937), lymphoid neoplasms (NCT03603951, NCT04407741), and in combination with BRAF and MEK inhibition in melanoma (NCT04557956).
