In a recent report, TLSs-related gene signature (including CXCL13, CCL19) score was relatively higher in DNA polymerase epsilon (POLE) and microsatellite instability (MSI) subtypes than in other subtypes in TCGA data set of EC [40] And we could verify this result with another data set of endometrial cancer (n = 100, Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium [CPTAC]) [41] by the same method as the previous article [40] with single sample gene set enrichment analysis, and we also could get a same tendency of TLSs distribution in POLE and MSI subtypes (data not shown). The gene discussed is POLE; the disease is neoplasm.
