AML cells from Cbfb56M/+/Mx1-Cre/tdTomato+ mice were transplanted into sublethally irradiated syngenic C57/B6 recipients (1 × 106 cells), which were then treated with SCR control (20 mg/kg/dose, i.v., daily for 3 weeks; n = 10), miRisten (20 mg/kg/dose, i.v., daily for 3 weeks; n = 8), Ara-C + DNR (A + D; “5 + 3”; n = 8), or miRisten and A + D (during week 3; n = 8) combined (Fig. 8a). This evidence concerns the gene MX1 and acute myeloid leukemia.
