FHL2 and lung cancer: At present, 22 FHL2 SNPs have been associated with a specific disease or trait: cardiac myopathy, pulse pressure, venous thrombosis, severity of bronchial hyper-responsiveness, acute myeloid leukemia, myeloid white cell count, platelet count, fat body mass, BMI, age of menopause, the electrocardiographic PR-interval of the heart, lung cancer in ‘ever-smokers’, smoking status, height, and unipolar depression.
