The efficacy of tyrosine kinase inhibitors in animal models of MS was demonstrated by Crespo et al. [76] In the actively induced EAE of C57BL6 mice inoculated with the peptide 35-55 of MOG (MOG35–55), three different tyrosine kinase inhibitors (sorafenib, imatinib, and GW2580) ameliorated the disease course, either before or after the appearance of the clinical signs. Here, MOG is linked to myeloid sarcoma.
