Having found that intermittent high glucose promoted endothelial inflammation in cultured EC, while EZH2 inhibition or knockdown blocked changes in such inflammatory pathways, we next performed an EZH2 small molecule inhibition study to assess its efficacy in attenuating endothelial inflammation in rat aortic rings that were challenged with intermittent hyperglycemia. This evidence concerns the gene EZH2 and Hyperglycemia.
