Our findings showed that the level of carnitine (C) was significantly higher in high-grade gliomas (HGG) when compared to low-grade gliomas (LGG) with a ratio of 4.21, and in IDH wild-type (IDHw) compared to IDH mutant (IDHm) tumors, with fold change 3.91. This evidence concerns the gene IDH2 and central nervous system cancer.
