With consideration of category named “intracellular and second messenger signaling”, the thermo-chemotherapeutic tumor therapy revealed up-regulated integrin, protein kinase A, ERK/MAPK, Rac, PAK, PI3K/AKT signaling pathways, etc. There was a distinct up-regulation of intracellular and second messenger signaling visible only in relation to the chemotherapy and the magnetic hyperthermia therapy arms, whereas intratumoral 5FU induced rather a down-regulation of Rho and PAK signaling (Figure 5).
