In terms of upregulated genes, our pathway enrichment results included fatty acid biosynthesis, ferroptosis, long-term potentiation, amphetamine addiction, adipocytokine signaling, PPAR signaling, synaptic vesicle cycle, and peroxisome, all of which are commonly accepted components of the pathogenesis and pathological changes of AD [55,56,57,58,59]. The gene discussed is PPARA; the disease is Alzheimer disease.
