Mean ACE2 activity was significantly higher in both the anterior and the remote inferior LV areas in the MI group (11 ± 0.6 pmol/min/mg and 9.4 ± 1 pmol/min/mg, respectively) than that in the Sham group (5.5 ± 0.24 pmol/min/mg, p < 0.05) (Figure 4C,D). Here, ACE2 is linked to myocardial infarction.
