Three splicing factors, CELF2, ESRP2 (epithelial splicing regulatory protein 2), and SRSF5 (serine- and arginine-rich splicing factor 5), which are substantially downregulated in hepatocellular carcinoma samples, were found to be responsible for splicing dysregulation in hepatocellular carcinoma [82]. Here, CELF2 is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
