Tumor suppressor gene TP53 is the most frequently mutated gene in high-grade serous adenocarcinoma of the ovary and the endometrium, which is found in 96% of ovarian high-grade serous carcinoma and in more than 90% of endometrial serous adenocarcinoma [8,9]. The gene discussed is TP53; the disease is ovarian serous adenocarcinoma.
