CDH2 and gastric cancer: Moreover, it was found that the use of mimetics led to elevation of E-cadherin and suppression of Vimentin, N-cadherin and Snail, denoting repression of EMT of GC cells; thus, this study indicates that miR-214 is able to repress the tumor-promoting capabilities of CAFs via targeting of FGF9 to regulate the EMT process of gastric cancer cells.
