NF-κB-signaling pathway overactivation was reported in several tumor tissues such as breast cancer [29,30] and was shown to mediate tumor-cell proliferation, survival and angiogenesis through controlling the expression of genes that support these phenotypes, such as TNFA, IL6, BCLXL, BCL2, BCLXS, CXCL8, and VEGF [31]. This evidence concerns the gene TNF and breast cancer.
