ZEB1 and SNAIL, on the other hand, showed opposite trends to KLF4: enriched in cancers with a higher KS score: LGG, GBM, UCS, SARC (sarcoma), and PCPG (pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma) but reduced in those with a lower one: HNSC, COAD (colorectal adeno-carcinoma), CESC, BLCA (bladder carcinoma), and READ (rectum adenocarcinoma) (Figure 3H and Figure S4A). The gene discussed is KLF4; the disease is hereditary pheochromocytoma-paraganglioma.
