B-cell translocation gene 1 (BTG1), a member of the BTG/transducer of ErbB2 family initially identified as a juxtaposed gene of myc in B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia [23], is involved in regulating cell cycle progression, differentiation, and cell death by interacting with diverse transcriptional/translational modulators, such as ATF4, HoxB9, nuclear receptors, protein arginine methyltransferase 1 (PRMT1), and CCR4-associated factor 1 [24,25,26,27,28,29,30]. Here, PRMT1 is linked to B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
