VEGF-B (together with VEGF-A, FLT1 and KDR) was found to be upregulated in invasive ductal carcinoma BC group compared to patients with fibroadenoma, while another study did not find a significant difference in VEGF-B mRNA levels between normal and neoplastic breast [52,53]. The gene discussed is VEGFA; the disease is invasive ductal breast carcinoma.
