Western blot analysis of patient-derived glioblastoma cells NULU treated with increasing concentrations of quinoin showed a dose-independent reduction of Cyclin D1 (Figure 4A and Figure S2), while the ZAR cell line exhibited a significant reduction of Cyclin D1 at the maximal concentration used (250 nM) (Figure 4C). The gene discussed is CCND1; the disease is glioblastoma.
