Essential hypertension (EH) is considered a multifactorial disorder resulting from a complex interplay of genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors [10], which involves the comprehensive mechanisms associated with the perturbations in the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone systems (RAAS), oxidative stress, endothelial dysfunction, vascular tone, salt sensitivity, and sympathetic nervous system (SNS) [10,14]. This evidence concerns the gene REN and hypertensive disorder.
