The concentration of apoA-1 did not significantly differ (5.3 vs. 5.9 mg/dL; p = 0.47), while a ninefold lower median concentration of apoB was found in bariatric gallstone patients compared to nonbariatric gallstone patients (1.6 vs. 18.8 mg/dL; p < 0.0001; Figure 6).
