These results suggest that obesity can increase ATM Ant2 expression not only by increasing the proportion of Ant2-high-expressing ATM subsets (Cd9+ and Itgax+ ATMs) but also by increasing Ant2 expression in Ant2-low-expressing ATMs (Itgax–, Lyve1+, and Cd163+ ATMs). This evidence concerns the gene LYVE1 and obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
