The results showed that the mRNA levels of five genes (CST2, EPHB6, MAGEA6, SEMA6A, and SLCO2A1) were significantly elevated in the HCC tissues, whereas PDZD4 was down-regulated in the HCC tissues when compared with those in the paratumor tissues (Figure 6). The gene discussed is CST2; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
