Intriguingly, several lines of evidence indicated that Korean females with TAS2R3/4 CC haplotype (rs2270009 and rs2234001, respectively) were at a lower risk of developing papillary thyroid carcinoma than those with the remaining haplotypes (OR = 0.59; 95% CI = 0.36–0.97). This evidence concerns the gene TAS2R3 and differentiated thyroid carcinoma.
