We provide evidence that n-3 enriched diet limits cell death and induces neuroprotection in neonatal stroke accompanied by decreased caspase-3 dependent cleavage of spectrin and alleviated inflammatory response following neonatal tMCAO with both reduced expression of cytokines (IL-6 and G-CSF) and chemokines (MCP-1, MIP-1α, KC, MIP-1β). Here, CCL4 is linked to stroke disorder.
